According to an update from Maine Department of Transportation, during  the last week in November, work continues on Route 1 through downtown Wiscasset. For the week of Nov. 15, the ledge hammered between Middle and Water streets was to have three basins set and tied into the drainage system. If the ledge has not been able to be hammered out, crews will instead begin winterization and demobilization. Any trenches will be paved and temporary curbs will be laid between Middle and Water streets.
