Easter egg hunt at Story Time

In celebration of Easter, the children at the Wiscasset Public Library searched the children’s room for almost 50 eggs hidden by the Easter Bunny on April 16.
Inside the plastic eggs they found treats, baby toy chicks and a secret note that they redeemed for a prize. Some of the prizes awarded were Easter book bags, Bunny hand puppets, and Easter egg bouncy balls.
Before the egg hunt, we all listened to "Bunny’s Easter Egg" by Anne Mortimer and "The Easter Egg Artists" by Adrienne Adams.
The rabbits in Adams’ book love to decorate eggs so much, that they try painting a car, plane, house and a bridge that all turn out looking like beautifully decorated Easter eggs.
