Edgecomb Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, will be observing Holy Week with the following services.

Palm Sunday, April 13: We will celebrate Jesus’ Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem with the distribution of Palms. Worship Service at 9:30 a.m.

Maundy Thursday, April 17: Our 7:30 p.m. service of worship will also celebrate the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper, and observe the Service of Tenebrae, the gradual diminution of light.

Good Friday, April 18: The Church will be open for meditation and prayer from noon until 3 p.m. The Passion from John’s Gospel will be read in its entirety, in seven stages, on the half hour.

Easter Sunday, April 20: An Easter Sunrise Service will be held at 5:45 a.m. at Fort Edgecomb, 66 Old Fort Road, Edgecomb, and at 9:30 a.m. join us at the Edgecomb Congregational Church, as we greet the risen Christ with a service of word and praise.
