Edgecomb Historical Society presentation
Tue, 04/21/2015 - 9:15pm
Edgecomb Historical Society sleuths have borrowed a mixed sampler of our archival material stashed away at Edgecomb Eddy School. We would love to share with you diaries and logs from days of old.
Come to the Edgecomb Congregational Church Fellowship Hall on Thursday, April 23 at 7 p.m. for the presentation.
Alexander Johnston tells of the eight-foot-thick ice on the Sheepscot River in 1875. Mellville Mason follows the big controversy over in the best route to Boothbay — Eddy Road or the "straight road." Learn about your old house from the 2008 Historic Resource Survey, and much more.
Don't miss the Ivan Flye photo display in the vestry entrance.
