Edgecomb's Dennis Hill makes soldier silhouette for Post 54

A wooden silhouette of a soldier on bended knee honoring a fallen fellow soldier went up recently in front of American Legion Post 54 of Wiscasset's hall on Bath Road.
Cmdr. William Cossette Jr. said the post's adjutant, Edgecomb's Dennis Hill, made the plywood silhouette after seeing a similar one at another AL post. It was no easy task as Hill continues to battle cancer, Cossette said. The silhouette will remain on the post's lawn, Cossette said.
Hill's wife Cindy said her husband of 45 years also made one that is now on the lawn of their Route 27 home opposite Molly's at On Board Fabrics.
