Essentials of College Planning for Adults
Are you 19 or older and planning to be the first in your family to attend college but don’t know where to start? Come to Essentials of College Planning for Adults, a free one night workshop sponsored by Maine Education Opportunity Center (MEOC) and Central Lincoln County Adult Education. The workshop is Tuesday, March 26 from 5-7 p.m. at the CLC Adult Education office in Damariscotta.
Essentials of College Planning for Adults will help you learn more about colleges, what they have to offer, and how you can begin. Admission, financial aid and college programs will be discussed. Please bring your 2012 Federal Tax return (even if it’s estimated) and W2s so we may complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
There is no charge for the workshop, but you must preregister by calling MEOC at 1-800-281-3703 or CLC Adult Ed at 207-563-2811, email clcae@aos93.org, visit our website at clc.maineadulted.org, or stop by the CLC Adult Education office in the Pine Grove Plaza (at the intersection of Route 1 and Business Route 1 in Damariscotta).
