Tue, 09/07/2021 - 8:30am

An exciting variety of auction and raffle items will be part of the St. Giles Jump Into Fall event, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday Sept. 18, on the church grounds under the pines at 72 Gardiner Road in Jefferson.

The event, to raise money for the church and its outreach programs, and to bring the wider community together, will include more than 20 craft and vendor tables. Tables are available to rent for $20 each and the renters keep the proceeds.

The auction, scheduled to begin at noon, includes many exciting items — a three-night houseboat stay at Robinhood Marina; a two-night stay for a group at Damariscotta Lake Farms; two nights Glamping at Comfy Dome in Jefferson; a weekend in a yurt or hut at Hidden Valley; a family membership in the Maine Botanical Gardens; Magic Falls rafting tickets; passes to the Alna Narrow Gauge Railroad; golfing at Sheepscot Links; tickets to the Camden Snow Bowl; to the Cabbage Island Clambake; trips on a working lobster boat; a free dental exam and cleaning; a hooked rug; a mosaic painting; and pizza once a month for a year.

Items to be raffled include gift certificates for hair, dental and automotive care as well as food items. Raffle tickets are $5 each or six tickets for $20.

A variety of food and beverage offerings will be available at the Lunchbox Food Truck. One free meal, offered by the food truck, will be given as a door prize to the lucky winner.

In addition, St. Giles parishioners will host their traditional homemade pie and book sales.

The rain date is Sunday, Sept. 19. For more information or to reserve a table, call 549-7872.
