The Animal House & SUDS! Grooming in Damariscotta will be hosting the Lincoln County Animal Shelter on Saturday, Feb. 15 and Sunday, Feb. 16 for an opportunity to “meet your true love” from the shelter.

Dogs will be featured on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and cats will be featured on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Shelter staff will be on hand to answer questions about the dogs and cats they are featuring, plus others currently at the shelter. Applications will be available for those interested in adopting.

There will also be a bake sale on Saturday to benefit Team Garron for the March of Dimes.

Pet food company Natural Balance will handing out samples and coupons at the “True Love” weekend, in support of the Lincoln County Animal Shelter. In partnership with The Animal House, Natural Balance is offering $3 to $5 off each bag of dog or cat food. Customers can choose either to use the coupon or donate it to the shelter. Natural Balance will then donate product from the coupons received and match the donation.

Dogs scheduled to attend the Saturday event include:

• Roxy, a 2-year-old terrier mix. High energy and fine with older children. Cats not recommended.
• Max, a 7-year-old pit bill. A very loving boy who loves his toys. Fine with other dogs and older children.
• Peyton, a 6-year-old puggle. He is very good natured, loves to go for walks and a great family dog.
• Caleb, a 5-year-old hound mix. A great family dog, and very well trained. Great for the family that likes to be active.

Cats scheduled to attend the Sunday event include:

• Thomas, a 1-year-old gorgeous long-haired male.
• Mindy, a 9-year-old brown tiger, very sweet.
• Nermal, a 5-year-old quiet, mellow boy.
• Smokey, a beautiful 5-year-old long hair male who loves affection.
