“Journeying to Jerusalem” is the theme of Lenten services, study and activities to be held at the First Congregational Church of Wiscasset UCC .

On Feb. 24, Interim Pastor Susan Craig will lead the first of five Tuesday evening Bible discussions examining Jesus’ life through the eyes of Mark’s Gospel and the poetry of Ann Weems from her book, "Kneeling in Jerusalem."

Bible study will be held in the church Fellowship Hall on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. and will continue throughout Lent, ending on Tuesday, March 24. Participants are welcome at any or all of the sessions.

The First Congregational Church is located at 28 High Street. The public is welcome at all services, activities and events.
