    A self-guided tour of fine art exhibits, new show openings, receptions, and demonstrations in galleries and studios this happening this month in Boothbay Harbor and East Boothbay.

    The gallery is pleased to announce that two new shows open June 29, continuing through July. "Andrea Peters: In Living Color” - This Little River, East Boothbay artist paints the world around her: salty inlets, mossy ledges, towering spruces, and abundant gardens. "Kevin Beers: From Manana to Havana” - The renowned Maine artist finds much to paint on islands frozen in time such as Monhegan (and its tiny companion island Manana) and Cuba.     “By Land and Sea” is a compelling new exhibit featuring landscapes and seascapes by artists Lynne Seitzer and John M T Seitzer during the month of July. The exhibition highlights the local color and natural beauty of the region. The artist reception for “By Land and By Sea” will be held on First Friday, from 7-9 p.m. All are welcome.

    Add an horticultural twist to your artistic adventure by extending your tour slightly off the beaten path to Paradise Studio. At this First Friday reception from 2-5 p.m. with wine and refreshments, you will see colorful yet peaceful realistic oils by Mary Ellen TK Serina and benches by Ron Serina in the gardens. We are easy to find and just a five-minute drive from the Harbor. Follow Rt. 96, the Ocean Point Road, 4/10 mile past the East Boothbay General Store and turn right onto Paradise Point Road at the top of the hill. Paradise Studio is at number 70 with the yellow “Open” banner. Open most days between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
