First National Bank recently donated $2,500 to sponsor the 2019 Damariscotta Oyster Celebration.

The second annual Damariscotta Oyster Celebration kicks off on June 13 with chefs from North America competing in the International Oyster Chef of the Year competition at the Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Golf Resort. On June 14 and 15, open houses will provide opportunities to meet oyster farmers and experience local food and beverage in the Damariscotta and Boothbay Harbor region. The Can-Am Shuck Star competition and oyster party will be the finale event on June 15, complete with oyster tours, tastings, children’s activities, food trucks and local vendors.
