The Free Clothing Closet, located behind the United Methodist Church, Townsend Avenue, Boothbay Harbor, will be open every Wednesday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., throughout the fall and winter.

The community has been very generous with donations at the Blue Box for the Free Clothing Closet, so there are plenty of good winter clothes for men, women and children, as well as shoes, hats, gloves and scarves.

All are welcome. The Free Clothing Closet is run on the honor system, and our motto is: “Take what you need, leave enough for others.” Please honor that request, and check back often when you need something for you or your family.

The Free Clothing Closet is under the auspices of the Boothbay Region Community Resources, and is run as a service to the residents of the Boothbay region. Please spread the word to those in need.
