Friends of the Wiscasset Public Library Second Hand Prose Used Book Room will hold their second annual half price sale on all adult books Fri., Oct. 18, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sat., Oct. 19, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

In an attempt to encourage young readers, children's selections are always deeply discounted. The book sale is planned to coordinate with Wiscasset's Scarecrowfest events from Oct.12-19. Plan on visiting the Library with your list of gift ideas, favorite authors, children's books and leave with a bag full of books.
