Skidompha Secondhand Book Shop in downtown Damariscotta will hold a storewide half-price sale from Thursday, March 22 through Saturday, March 24. Hours are Thursday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sale items will include all hardcover and paperback books, audio books, music CDs, movies on DVD and VCR, and puzzles.

The book shop, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, is a major source of funding for the programs and collections of Skidompha Public Library. All items are donated, and the shop is run entirely by volunteers.

Located on the river at 17 Backstreet Landing, it’s open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursdays until 6 p.m. Donations are accepted whenever the shop is open.
