Hall Funeral Home begins ‘Hugs from Home’ program

Hall Funeral Home is implementing a new program called “Hugs from Home.”

In looking for a way for friends and extended family members to be there in spirit and support of those grieving during this time of private services, Hall’s wanted to give those not attending the chance to be able to share a token of love and support.

According to Mike Hall, “Social support is extremely important during a time of grieving, even when circumstances limit the ability to attend or support the family who has suffered a loss.  That is why we are implementing our new program ‘Hugs from Home.’”

By completing a form on their website including a message of condolence, Hall’s staff will handwrite the message on a card and attach it to a balloon. These balloons will fill the place of service as hugs for the families. The family members will be able to read the heartfelt messages and hopefully know that many others are there with them in spirit.

Hall’s asks that Hugs for the service need to be received by 3 p.m. the night before the service. Go to www.hallfuneralhomes.com to send a hug and to post a condolence on the family’s Book of Memories page.
