Purchasing a ticket for Heartwood’s European Vacation Raffle could land you a week’s stay in France or Italy with $1,000 for expenses. And the odds are ever so much better than winning the lottery, only 200 tickets will be sold for each of these four gorgeous locations: in France, Provence and the Les Carroz, French Alps or Salento, Apulia in southern Italy or Ventimiglia, Alpes-Maritime in northern Italy.

This week’s feature property: a lovely, one bedroom apartment in the ancient town of Apt, the heart of Provence, France. It's a newly restored and subdivided 17th century grand home we have a one bedroom, one bath, single story, sun filled, south facing apartment redesigned in the spirit of the ancient house in which it is located. This apartment overlooks a private courtyard garden, which you are given full access to with the key left in the apartment.

The design blends a respect for the historic structure and contemporary sensibility. The furnishings are antiques found in southern France, bed linens are of the finest linen and cotton. The apartment has a wood burning fireplace and a large exterior terrace off the bedroom.

The apartment has a new electrical, plumbing and heating system of hot water iron radiators with new appliances and bathroom fixtures and is approximately 450 square feet.
