The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 304 calls for service for the period of Aug. 26 to Sept. 2. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 10,009 calls for service.

Summons

A 17-year-old male juvenile from Waldoboro was issued a summons Aug. 30 for Minor Consuming Liquor, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.

Arrests

Meghan E. Storey, 32, of Boothbay was arrested Aug. 27 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Rittall Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Brandon Maciuba.

Paul Griffin, 53, of Waldoboro was arrested Aug. 27 on a Lincoln County warrant for Failure to Appear on a Shellfish Violation, on Waldoboro Road, Bremen, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.

Gregory S. Prior, 54, of Bremen was arrested Aug. 28 for Failure to Appear after Bailed; Violating Condition of Release and for three Penobscot County warrants, on Medomak Road, Bremen, by Detective Jared Mitkus, who was assisted by Sgt. Scott Hayden.

James R. Clark, Jr., 49, of Damariscotta was arrested Aug. 29 on two Lincoln County warrants, one for Non-Compliance Contempt Order out of Wiscasset District Court and the other for Violation of Bail; Operating after Habitual Offender Revocation-3 priors; Driving to Endanger and Violating Condition of Release out of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.

Brooke A. Burnham, 29, of Bristol was arrested Aug. 30 on two warrants for Failure to Appear.  One from Waldo County District Court on a Theft charge and one from Lincoln County District Court for Unlawful Possession of Drugs charge, on Waldoboro Road, Bremen, by Deputy Mark Fortin.

Daniel D. Chubbuck, 33, of Pittsfield was arrested Sept. 1 on a Lincoln County warrant for Failure to Appear on an Operating under the Influence (Drugs) charge, on Route 1, Edgecomb, by Deputy Brandon Maciuba, who was assisted by Deputy Ethan Burns.

Christian Elie, 58, of Woolwich was arrested Sept. 2 for Operating under the Influence, on  Clover Lane, Whitefield, by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.

Accidents

On Aug. 26, an accident occurred on Head Tide Road in Whitefield involving Harrison D. White, 17, of Whitefield. Mr. White was operating his 2016 Volkswagen Jetta northbound when a deer entered the roadway and was struck, causing damage to the front driver’s corner of his vehicle. Deputy Caleb Poirer was the investigating officer.

On Aug. 26, an accident occurred on Isle of Springs Road in Boothbay involving Leona A. Nisbet, 78, of Boothbay. Ms. Nisbet was operating her 2021 Toyota Venza southbound on Sawyer’s Island Road, when she attempted to take a right turn onto Isle of Springs Road and struck a utility pole head on. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.

On Aug. 29, an accident occurred on Main Road on Westport Island involving Bonnie P. Wormwood, 50, of Westport Island. Ms. Wormwood was operating her 2016 Jeep Cherokee northbound when a deer entered the roadway and collided with her vehicle. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.

On Aug. 29, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Charles D. Marshall, 49, of Edgecomb. Mr. Marshall was operating his 2009 Jeep Wrangler northbound when he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway on the right and drove into a ditch, where his vehicle rolled over onto its roof. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
