Lobster industry meeting rescheduled
A Maine Department of Marine Resources meeting scheduled for today, January 2, in Boothbay to discuss the state of the lobster industry has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 6 p.m. in the Large Conference Room of the Department of Marine Resources Boothbay Harbor facility, due to unforeseen illness of DMR staff.
If necessary, meetings scheduled for January 3 at the Jonesport fire station and the Machias Memorial High School and January 4 at the Gouldsboro Community Center will also be rescheduled and notices will be published by 5 p.m. today, Jan. 2 on the Department of Marine Resources website at www.maine.gov/dmr/index.htm and distributed via email to industry stakeholders and to local, regional and state media outlets.
