Make a bid on Edgecomb church's silent auction items
The fifth annual silent auction is underway at the Edgecomb Congregational Church, located on Cross Point Road in Edgecomb. There is a wonderful selection of items on display including two table fountains, a variety of gift certificates, a new Pendleton wool blanket, a tea cart, handmade wooden vehicles and an antique china tea service.
Auction items are on display and bids may be made anytime the church is open: Sunday mornings, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. when the thrift shop is open and on Saturday supper nights, July, 19, August 16 and September 27. The auction will continue until the final summer supper on September 27 at which time the winning bids will be announced.
There are currently over 70 items on display with more coming in.
The silent auction, the thrift shop and the summer suppers are major fundraisers to support the local mission and outreach program of the church. The next supper will be held on Saturday, July 19 to benefit the Paul O’Neil Foundation. For more information visit the church website, www.edgecombchurch.org
