Maine Department of Transportation announced the following activity as part of the Wiscasset Downtown Project. All work will be done from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Expect noise and bright lights. 

Due to some recent poor weather, some work scheduled to be completed Friday, July 27 may still be in progress, including excavating and installing gravel on Railroad Avenue and Water Street, and reconnecting drains.

Preparation will continue for the wet cast retaining wall. Moulinson is installing conduits and possibly light base foundations, and drilling and blasting may take place depending on the results of a pre-blast survey.
