Saturday, Aug. 4 at 8 a.m. is the opening of the annual Rotary Auction at its new home, the Boothbay Region Schools playing fields. More space, plenty of parking, indoor facilities and a food stall to benefit the Community Center. Mark your calendar now.

If it’s nautical you’re looking for, come see what’s at the auction. Boats, life size and model, antique instruments, even nautical decorative items for your cottage … we have it all!

The Boutique has everything from glassware to lamps, in fact there are many lovely lamps this year, floor lamps as well as Chinese porcelain lamps. Beds, tables, chairs, dressers — we have nearly everything you need for furnishing your cottage or rental.

All proceeds benefit the community and help to further Rotary International’s many projects including eradicating polio, so you can feel good about shopping knowing you are doing good as well.
Especially important to the success of the Auction are our sponsors. This year’s sponsors include the Boothbay Harbor Country Club, Boothbay Region schools, Abacus, Ames Hardware, Dead River, First National Bank, First Federal Savings Bank, J. Edward Knight, Southport Island Marine and Tindal & Callahan.
