Mosiers celebrate 25th wedding anniversary
Dennis and Vicki Emerson Mosier of Woolwich celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on October 8 with a surprise lawn party on August 10 at the home of their oldest daughter and husband, Heidi and Michael Thiboutot of Wiscasset. Co-hosting were daughter and husband, Mariah and Matt Child of Brunswick, and son, Dennis Mosier Jr. of Woolwich.
Wedding albums full of photos and dress clothing were secretly taken from the Mosiers’ home for the event. A surprise renewal of vows was performed by Pastor Wally Staples, who officiated the wedding 25 years ago. The bride was escorted to the altar by her father.
Many family and friends attended, including the wedding party: matron of honor Carol Nibarger (sister of the bride), bridesmaids Judy Rowe (sister of the groom) and Patti Skillin, flower girl Heidi Mosier Thiboutot; groomsman John Nibarger, and ringer bearer Brendon Nibarger, brother-in-law and nephew of the bride. Unable to attend was best man Tony Mosier and groomsman Bobby Emerson.
Music was provided by family friend Todd Stilphen. The bride’s bouquet was made by Carol Nibarger and the wedding cake was made by Heidi Thiboutot.
Dennis is the son of the late Frank Mosier of Woolwich and Shirley Page of Woolwich. He works for H.C. Crooker & Sons, Inc.
Vicki is the daughter of Robert and Sandra Emerson of Woolwich. She works at Shaw’s in Wiscasset.
