Savory Maine, purveyor of fine local and organic foods, is happy to announce its new music series featuring local musicians. Every Thursday and Saturday, from 6 to 8 p.m., musicians from around the Midcoast will entertain and charm diners at Savory Maine.

The series begins Thursday, Oct. 11 with Peter Alexander, followed by Nancy Sferra and Heather Hardy October 13. Shanna Underwood will play on October 18 while Aaron Nadeau will take the October 20 spot. October 25, the duo Hurry Down Sunshine will take the stage, with Giff Jamison headlining October 27.

Savory Maine is located at 11 Water St., Damariscotta. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Wednesday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday for brunch and dinner. The restaurant sources most of its food from Maine and 99 percent of it is organically grown, wild harvested or grass fed.
