Nick Prato brings his distinct, folk-infused sound to Music at Merry Barn: Story and Song on Saturday, April 13. Prato is an independent artist from Yarmouth, whose music features an authentic blend of melancholy indie rock and classic Americana.

Prato shares his contemporary approach to song writing and perspective in his debut EP, “All The Space,” available now on all streaming platforms. EarToTheGround Music praised Prato’s debut: "Simultaneously confident and intimate... I think fans of folk-influenced rock are going to find a lot to like with this one."

Prato continues to garner attention with a November spot on 207 and a performance at the new Founders Hall at 317 Maine Music Center in Yarmouth. Last month, Prato performed an original set at AME Studios in Boston for the AME Live Sessions. Check it out at https://www.youtube.com/@nickpratomusic.

“As a professional Berklee College of Music-certified guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, arranger, and producer,” Prato said, “I’ve collaborated in both live and in-studio musical contexts with many artists/producers from a variety of backgrounds, including Grammy-Award-winning producer Joe Henry (Bonnie Raitt, Elvis Costello, Madonna).”
