Rachel Marie (Peters) Little, 36, of Waldoboro, died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 20.

She was born to Richard A. Peters and Paulette A. Brown on October 27, 1976, in Boothbay Harbor.

In 1996, Rachel married John Little and they had three children, Kaitlin, Zachary and Abigail.

Rachel was employed at the Ship Ahoy Motel in the summers where she enjoyed exploring the ocean with her daughter, Abigail. She also enjoyed watching her son Zachary play sports.

Family was everything to her; she considered her close friends family.

Rachel will be sadly missed by many people.

Rachel is survived by her partner, Scott Emerson, whom she considered to be her soulmate; children, Kaitlin, Zachary and Abigail Little; mother, Paulette Brown; father Richard Peters; brothers Joe Peters and Andrew Brown; sisters Christine Thibodeau, Tracy Dunton and Misty Brown; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at St. Columba’s Church in Boothbay Harbor on Friday, April 5 at 11 a.m. A private service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Rachel’s children at The First bank, in care of Misty Brown.
