I am writing to support the re-election of Senator Chris Johnson in November.

I have known Chris Johnson for several years, and have watched him work with constituents looking for assistance from the Maine Legislature. My personal experience with him has been through working on the issue of Death with Dignity, as he supported legislation that would offer Choice for terminally ill people at the end of life. Chris understands that individuals facing this ultimate stage in life need and deserve to have control over their decisions, and he spoke passionately on the Senate floor about real people's stories and the importance of ensuring that terminally ill people have this right.

Chris is also a strong supporter of public education, promoting economic growth, and tax reform in Maine. His work in establishing the Lincoln County Recovery Collaborative has made it possible for healthcare professionals to work with law enforcement, providing the care necessary for addicted people who are seeking help and need timely treatment.

I have traveled around the Boothbay area with Senator Johnson, and watched him interact with people. He always listens respectively to their concerns, responds to their questions, and offers creative, thoughtful, and constructive solutions.

I hope you will support him for re-election to the Maine Senate.
