Rev. Robert Dent at Congregational Church
On Sunday, June 29, the Rev. Robert Dent will be the guest minister at the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor.
Dent was born in Philadelphia, grew up in Crosswicks, N.J., attended Bordentown Military Institute from 8th grade through high school, graduated from Grove City College, in 1966 from Princeton Theological Seminary, and later received an additional degree form McCormick Seminary.
He served two churches in Pennsylvania after Princeton, and for part of that time, was chaplain at Wilson College. He was called to the First Presbyterian Church of Monroe in 1976 where he served for almost 31 years until retirement.
