Robert Soule, age 76, of Wiscasset passed away on Aug. 28, 2026, after a long period of declining health. He was married to his wife Phyllis Soule of Wiscasset for 50 years.

Robert was born Aug. 1, 1950, to Lewis and Roberta Soule of Woolwich.

Robert was a member of the Wiscasset Fire Dept. in his younger years, where he served as training officer for many years. He was employed with the Wiscasset School Dept. for 43 years and most of those were in the Wiscasset Primary School as maintenance supervisor. 

Robert was predeceased by his father Lewis H. Soule of Woolwich and his mother Roberta Leavitt Soule, along with his older brother Lewis, his sister Linda Soule Plant, and his nephew Tim Plant. 

He is survived by his wife Phyllis of Wiscasset; brother Raymond Soule and wife Sue; daughters Cassie and husband Gerald, Crystal and husband Jon, and daughter Melissa; his son Robert and wife Amanda; grandchildren Reese, Camden, Savannah, Carley, Olivia and Garrett. He loved his children and grandchildren very much. They were the light of his life.

A family gathering will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Wiscasset at a later date.
