I have been asked several times lately how much longer the Route 128 project is going to last. 

I just got off the phone with the project manager who says that due to coming across some unexpected ledge that had to be dealt with and the heavy rain storms that we have experienced this month, they are running about two weeks behind schedule. 

The original date for completion was October 26. He expects that date to be into early November now. 

The workers are doing the best they can and are working seven days a week from early morning until about 7 p.m. 

He says the they are waiting on materials right now. The culvert is expected to arrive next week. They will install it, back fill it and get the road hot topped barring anymore unforeseen inclement weather.
