Anyone pack a bag supper?

The Wiscasset School Committee will be room-hopping during a lengthy meeting January 23, scheduled to run from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wiscasset High School.

The meeting will start briefly in the library at 4:30 p.m., to vote to enter into an executive, or closed-door session in the school’s conference room to interview a candidate for interim superintendent, Chairman Glen Craig said. When that wraps up, the panel will return to the library to come out of executive session and recess until the board’s regular meeting time of 6 p.m., in the library, Craig said.

At one point during the meeting, the committee will be returning to the conference room for another candidate interview, Craig said. Then it’s back to the library for the remainder of the open meeting, he said.

The committee plans to also meet January 25, for an executive session with another candidate, Craig said.
