U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced Friday that staff from her Augusta Constituent Service Center will hold local office hours in Waldoboro, Newcastle, and Boothbay on Thursday, Aug. 16.

A staff member will be available to provide assistance with federal issues and agencies, such as the Social Security Administration, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, Department of Veterans Affairs and the Internal Revenue Service. No appointment is necessary. All conversations are strictly confidential.

Boothbay Town Office, 1101 Wiscasset Road/7 Corey Lane: 2 to 3 p.m.

Newcastle Town Office, 4 Pump Street: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Waldoboro Town Office, 1600 Atlantic Highway: 9 to 10 a.m.
