Boothbay Region Art Foundation (BRAF) has recently installed its September exhibit featuring an eclectic collection of new works by 120 member/artists. Fall colors and the longer shadows of autumn seem to have been the intuitive theme for submissions. As usual, the variety of styles, mediums and techniques provide a selection of art that both engages and entertains the viewers from start to finish.
Offering two floors of original wall pieces and a wide selection of bin work (including both unframed originals and fine art reproductions), the gallery. located at One Townsend Avenue, is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Oct.10.
Preparations have begun for BRAF’s statewide, juried fine art exhibit, ART in ME! Entries will be accepted on Oct. 11 and 12. Also the popular ART in the Square show is gearing up for this year’s new and improved version of Harbor Lights. Stay tuned for more updates!
