Raymond Soule, who has served Wiscasset in multiple ways over the last quarter of a century, has tendered his resignation to the Planning Board effective Feb. 20.

The resignation was part of selectmen's Feb. 19 agenda, released Feb. 14. A copy of Soule's Feb. 11, handwritten resignation letter was included in the packet of supporting documents. In the letter, Soule expresses thanks for “an interesting 23 years” on the Planning Board.
