All DVDs at Skidompha Secondhand Book Shop in downtown Damariscotta are on sale for $1 each, including individual discs and sets, from now until May 14.

The several hundred DVDs include movies, documentaries and TV series. The book shop, at 17 Backstreet Landing, is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. except Sundays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It offers hardcover and paperback books in dozens of categories for adults and children, puzzles, CDs, and VCR tapes, and well as DVDs. All items are donated, the shop is managed entirely by volunteers, and all proceeds support the library’s programs and collection. Donations are accepted whenever the shop is open.
