Jackson Gillman, the “Stand-Up Chameleon,” was here getting everyone to stand up, jump about and laugh out loud for our Summer Reading Program 2014 kick off at the Wiscasset Public Library.
The children of the Summer Reading Program sang along songs about the library, summer vacation and “What Did You Do At School Today?” Four brave volunteers got up and acted like they were turtles and others made sounds like a rhinoceros! Much fun was had with the “Stand-Up Chameleon” performance.
Registration for the Summer Reading Program is still going on until July 3. There are lots of great incentives for signing up, completing the program, and even a chance to win a Kindle. Hope to see you at the Wiscasset Public Library this summer!
