The Skidompha Secondhand Book Shop in downtown Damariscotta will be open on Sundays for the summer, beginning on June 4 and continuing through August 27. Sunday hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

As always, the shop will be open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and until 7 p.m. on Thursdays.

The book shop is located on Backstreet Landing, in its spacious new spot on the waterfront behind Elm Street Plaza, where it has been since moving from its former Elm Street location in January.

A major source of funding for Skidompha Public Library, the shop is managed and staffed entirely by volunteers. All items are donated. Donations of books, CDs, DVDs, and puzzles are accepted at the shop whenever it is open.
