T & D Variety burglary still under investigation

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate a break-in and theft of cigarettes at T & D Variety after hours the evening of Monday, Aug. 13.
LCSO has provided photos from a video of the theft and is requesting anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of the burglar come forward.
“We are seeking assistance from the public in identifying the suspect involved,” LCSO said in a press release.
LCSO requested that information not be shared on Facebook or in replies to press releases on social media, but to call or to send a private message. T and D Variety was contacted by the Boothbay Register, but deferred information about the burglary to LCSO who has not yet responded to inquiries.
