Thelma S. Chenoweth
Thelma Stanley Chenoweth, 105, of Boothbay Harbor died peacefully in her sleep October 2, 2013, with her family by her side.
She was born September 1, 1908 in Waterville to Newton F. Stanley and Della Conant Stanley. They lived in Maine and Newton, Mass. Thelma graduated from Newton High School and the University of Illinois. She married Edward E. Chenoweth, now deceased, on September 13, 1930. They lived in Massachusetts and moved to Skowhegan in 1950.
She is survived by her children, Stanley Chenoweth and wife Jean of Eustis, Martha Chenoweth Wilson of Boothbay Harbor, Priscilla Chenoweth McCliggott Blakeman and husband Ronald Blakeman of Portland, and Roger Chenoweth of Limington; eight grandchildren, Edward H. Wilson of Salt Lake City, Utah, Jan Wilson Stack and husband Michael Stack of Buffalo, N.Y., Laurie Wilson-Burgoa of Boothbay Harbor, Catherine Chenoweth of Stratton, Linda McCliggott Fox and husband James Fox of Portland, Mich., Laura McCliggott Hedger and husband Shawn Hedger of Greenville, Mich., James D. McCliggott and wife Angel of Portland, Mich., LeaAnn McCliggott Henriie and husband Eric of Portland, Mich.; 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
