For the Love of Deb (Holmes Beam) fundraiser will be held at the Opera House at Boothbay Harbor Friday, Nov. 22 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. for entry into the main performance hall.

Silent auction items will be displayed on tables near the back of the hall. A cabaret seating area will be set up in front of the stage to accommodate 50-60 people, including Holmes and Beam family members.

The fundraiser includes a silent auction, live auction, entertainment, very light appetizers/finger food, and a cash bar courtesy of the Opera House staff.

Here are some of the auction items: Two adult tickets to Monhegan Island; Ariat women’s cowgirl leather Wild Flower boots size 9.5; half a cord of fire wood, delivered if local; 8” x 10” framed painting by Fran Scannell; silver jewelry by Nancy Prisk; Beatles night package: two tickets to State Theater shows Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 including an overnight at Press Hotel and gift card to Restaurant Local 88; Signature Mumbai to Maine meal for two prepared by Cherie Scott (creator, host and producer of Mumbai to Maine); and two tickets to Cabbage Island.

Tickets are $25 each and will be available as of Wednesday, Nov. 6 at Harbor Tech Solutions, Meadow Mall, Boothbay Harbor; and through Lisa Kristoff by emailing lkkrisli207@gmail.com

The number on the back of your ticket is your bidding number for the live auction, which will happen around 6:30 or so, just a guess. Bidding will end on silent auction items when the live auction ends.

When buying tickets, bring the exact dollar amount or write a check. No charge or debit cards may be used. No change will be available at the ticket locations. Thank you! There are a limited number of tickets available due to venue size and fire codes, so get those tickets ASAP. After all, it’s all for the love of Deb.
