A Jefferson man was taken by ambulance to Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta on November 24, after being struck on the head by a tree outside his home, a Jefferson fire official said.
The incident occurred on Route 17, shortly after noon on Sunday, Jefferson Fire Lt. Paul Huber said.
The man’s name was not released. He is in his thirties, and his injuries were believed to be non-life-threatening, Huber said.
Huber did not know if the incident with the tree was related to the strong winds blowing through the region Sunday, Nov. 24.
