Two shows left for Music Fest
With two shows remaining in 2013, the Damariscotta River Association's Midcoast Music Festival is halfway through its season and tickets only remain for one show.
The Thursday, July 18 show featuring Slaid Cleaves with Bruce Hardina is sold out, but the July 25 show with Maine's own Mallett Brothers Band still has tickets available.
Portland-based pop, soul and blues singer Anna Lombard will open for the Mallett Brothers at 6:30 p.m. in the third and final act of the summer. Tickets cost $15, with discounts available for students.
The Mallet Brothers Band is an alternative country band from Portland that won best local act, best live act, best roots act, best song for “Low Down” and best album of the same name from the 2012 Portland Phoenix Best Music Poll.
The festival is held at Darrows Barn at Round Top on 3 Round Top Lane. For more information or to order tickets, visit www.midcoastmusicfest.com or call 207-563-1393.
The Midcoast Music Fest supports the nonprofit Damariscotta River Association.
In addition to music, the festival has plenty of food, wine, beer and fresh-shucked oysters from local vendors.
