Dresden Sno-Valley Riders will meet on Tuesday, April 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the town hall on Route 197. At this meeting, we will need to have all paperwork on the trail maintenance and grooming that was done so it can be put on the Grant-in-Aid form and submitted to the state by April 30.

We’ll also have election of officers for the 2014-15 season and vote as to whether we will have any meetings during the summer months. Refreshments will be available for all those who attend, and the Pot-O-Gold is at $30. 

Workshop meetings are open to the public and we encourage residents to take the time to attend. This plan will be something that will be discussed and presented at open forums in the future so we want you to have as much information and opportunity to give input as we possibly can. The members realize this is an important issue that can help our community in so many ways. We want to feel that all the time and effort being given to this plan is appreciated and acceptable to the townspeople, so your input, suggestions, questions and attendance is of much importance to the group. 

Dresden Historical Society members will meet on Monday, April 14 at 7 p.m. in the Yellow Schoolhouse on Route 128 (River Road). Thank you to everyone who helped to make the Chili-Chowder Supper a success.

With so many people asking to have another event like that or if you missed the first one, the group has decided to do a Soup-r-Stew Supper at the end of April. More information will be posted around town, in newspapers, on Facebook and by word-of-mouth.

Anyone wishing to make a soup or stew or whatever for this event, please contact John at 207-737-8614. We’ll have crackers, biscuits, cornbread, desserts and refreshments. Price will be the same as the previous supper: $ 7 adults/$3 for children under the age of 12. All proceeds benefit the Dresden Historical Society. Hope to see you there.
