Considering the office you are running for, what do you feel are the three most pressing issues (350 words or less): Wiscasset is facing pressing issues on both the local and national level. From an influx of new residents to the changing national economy, our town is experiencing some growing pains as it changes with the times. Wiscasset’s history is something to be proud of and the future has endless possibilities.

One of the main issues facing the community of Wiscasset is a result of nationwide inflation. I want to help our lower- and fixed-income residents by working to keep taxes down. I understand how stressful money troubles can be. Working with the community and the town, I believe that we can move forward together without putting a heavy burden on our wonderful citizens.

Wiscasset has a deep and rich history, being one of the great seaside villages that has helped make Maine what it is today. I believe that I can help support Wiscasset's growth into an era of prosperity. By working together with the volunteer committees here as well as the community at large will help Wiscasset grow in a positive and productive direction.

For a while now Wiscasset has been a place for people to stop over for a bite to eat before moving on; that is beginning to change. With this transition Wiscasset is experiencing a chance to evolve to more than a stopover. We can work together to grow while protecting Wiscassset’s character and culture.

Any other thoughts on why you are running or what you can bring to the office? (150 words or less): My fiancé and I immediately felt welcomed after moving to Wiscasset. We admired Wiscasset’s history and we wanted to plant our roots here. Since arriving, we have been inspired by how dedicated and involved our neighbors and friends are. One of the values instilled in me when I was a young man was to always leave something better than you found it. With that in mind, I want to help make Wiscasset a better place while protecting its history and citizens. This is an amazing village with a bright future. We may not have been lucky enough to be born here but I am so grateful that we are lucky enough to call it home.
