‘What’s Nude’ art show opening this week

The third annual celebration of the human form,  “What’s Nude in Boothbay Harbor?” opens Valentine’s Day, Thursday, Feb. 14 at a new venue, the Boothbay Region Art Foundation (BRAF) located at 1 Townsend Avenue, Boothbay Harbor. 

The show features nude paintings, paper work, fiber, sculpture and photography in a wide range of approaches - realism surrealism, abstraction and impressionism. An Opening Reception will be held Saturday, February 16 from 5-7 p.m.  

“What's Nude in Boothbay Harbor?” offers something unique and fun to break up the long winter months - and just in time for Valentine’s Day weekend.  The show run: Feb. 14-17 and Feb. 21-23.  On Saturday, Feb. 23, there will be an artist’s potluck and pick up party from 5-7 p.m., also open to the public.

"What's Nude in Boothbay Harbor" is sponsored by the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce and the Boothbay Region Art Foundation in Boothbay Harbor.  BRAF’s gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14 through Sunday, Feb. 17 and Thursday, Feb. 21 through Saturday, Feb. 23.
