The Wiscasset Downtown Public Advisory Committee worked Monday on a final report to selectmen, and will meet one more time on it.

The report contained Maine Department of Transportation's early options and proposals, a synopsis of the PAC’s minutes and actions, the amenities agreed to, the parking subcommittee’s study and recommendations from then-Police Chief Jeff Lange for monetizing some of the parking spaces to pay for maintenance, especially snow removal.

The panel addressed typos and other items. Seaver Leslie dissented on the PAC's position on trees on Main Street. The committee will meet at 5 p.m. Aug. 28 to approve the final draft, to be presented at the first selectmen's meeting in September.
