On April 14, the members of Lincoln Lodge #3 in Wiscasset were proud to present a check of $1,500 to Erin Bean, chief of Wiscasset Ambulance Service, to help it buy new automated electronic defibrillators (AEDs).

The lodge raised $500 by hosting a barbecue at Wiscasset Speedway last year. This money was matched by Maine Masonic Charitable Foundation at Grand Lodge, on a $2 for $1 basis, adding another $1,000 for a total contribution of $1,500. It was donated in support of Wiscasset's increasing elderly population and continuing support for its community.
