Wiscasset Middle High School’s homecoming had fireworks and strong attendance, according to technology coordinator and student council advisor Deb Pooler. “We had the largest turnout for the dance in the past few years and the homecoming assembly was lots of fun. (The) bleacher decorating competition and tailgate party were very well attended by students,” Pooler said.

“The kids are the reason these activities are done. They build school spirit and a sense of community for our students. I am so glad we can continue these traditions.

“The homecoming fireworks show was awesome!” WMHS Boosters paid for it and Big Al’s gave 50% off the price, Pooler said. Chuck Thayer did the show, she said.
