The Wiscasset Historic Preservation Commission fell short of a quorum May 3 and did not hold its meeting. No requests for certificates of appropriateness were on the agenda.

The commission will host a representative from Main Street Maine at 5 p.m. May 17. Main Street is an economic development arm of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, focusing on downtown economic improvement.
