This Friday, May 18, the Wiscasset Schools will be conducting Emergency Evacuation Drills from both WES and WHMS during the day. The drill will bring them to WCC as this is their "go to" location in the event of an evacuation at their perspective schools.

The drills will take place in the morning (WES) and the afternoon (WMHS). There will be a considerable amount of additional traffic in and around the building. You may see additional emergency vehicles around the building during the day. The gym will be closed from 7-10 a.m. and again from 11am -2 :30 p.m. for these drills. All other programs will take place.

The school department announced at 8:47 a.m., WES was conducting "a practice evacuation drill."
