The First Congregational Church of Wiscasset invites all to a traditional Christmas Eve service with carols, reading of the birth narrative and the giving of thanks for the gift of Jesus. The service which begins at 7 p.m. will include music by the choir accompanied by Linda Adams on the organ as well as additional special music by soloists Laura Whitney Brewer and Denise Moore Reynolds. The service will end in candlelight with the singing of “Silent Night.” There will also be a special message for children too so bring the whole family.

Join us at 11:30 p.m. for a simple service of carols accompanied by Janet Leonard on the piano, scripture and a brief Christmas Meditation as we gather to ring in Christmas Day. The church bell will be rung as midnight strikes, welcoming the celebration of Christmas!
